As you know that Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus announced yesterday were built upon new iOS 8, the iPhone’s most advanced operating system to date – but how does it compare to Google’s Android 4.4 Kitkat? Features comparison of Android 4.4 Kitkat and iOS 8 is given below.
Apple’s iOS 7 from the date of its release, needs some overhauling for visual outlook and design. Due to less 3D look and more flatter design of iOS 7 now Apple try to overcome these deficiency in the coming iOS 8. Now it will be more clean in appearance and its transparent animation gives the illusion of layers that make Apple’s iOS 8 more attractive and easier to navigate through.
iOS 8’s now coming with featured three or four apps dock at the bottom of home screen. The home screen orientation also change horizontally or vertically and icons can be moves from one point to another. Apps can be moved around and put in themed folders, such as Photography or Social Media, but Apple’s system still has limited scope for customization.
Android’s home screen also can be customized to a vast degree. Both operating systems ( iOS 8, Android Kitkat) alike in many features like (larger) dock, folders and the ability to have several screens of apps. Android 4.4 well known by its nick name Kitkat, its home screen also changes horizontally or vertically when you’re holding your device. He added more that most featuring apps like health, games and educational apps are compatible with iOS 8 so that a lot of apple applications will be available for iPhone,iPad and iwatch users.
Google Play Store also contains huge list of free and paid apps for its android devices users around the world but android 4.4 Kitkat still doesn’t have as many apps as iOS 8. On the other hand, both iOS 8 and Android stores have all famous apps like Facebook, Twitter, Viber, Whatsapp and Instagram.
Cloud Based Solutions
Microsoft Dropbox, Google Drive and Apple’s iCloud are most popular cloud-based solutions now a days.Among these three cloud based solutions Apple’s iCloud is more handy and convenient to use because it act more like a virtual hard disk. In iCloud someone directly organise one’s files and easily access files on variety of devices like mac machine,iPhone,iPad and even on iwatch.
But android 4.4 kitkat still have not so much features for Google Drive, which is one of the best Google solutions for productivity on the cloud. It also allowing you to access your files on a browser, and share your documents to friends and colleagues,
