Korean IT-portal ETNews reports that the next version of Android 4.4 KitKat will work well on devices with larger screen. This resource, citing its own insider sources, reports that Google is working to improve the quality of their Android operating system to display on a TV. According to them, developed such a system interface that is equally suited for smart-TV and smartphones, as well as create an environment for developing applications for televisions.
This development of Android is quite logical. But once Eric Schmidt stated that Android will become the dominant platform for smart-TV, after starting in 2012, most TVs will come with Google TV.
The platform Google TV really soon be replaced by Android TV. But so far is not known whether it will be a simple re-branding, or it will bring significant changes to the ecosystem combining Google. Resources ETNews and GigaOm reports that LG and Sony, who are the producers of Google TV is ready to re-branding of their products and upcoming changes.
As we know , Android 4.4 KitKat will bring some changes to the user interface and the system itself. So it would be logical to assume that Google, speaking about Android 4.4 KitKat: «Amazing experience with Android will be available for everyone” – and hinted at the TV.
