Motorola Xoom tablet released back in 2011, and the latest official firmware for it is considered Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. Since then, support for the device has been completed, however, Motorola Xoom owners will be pleased to know that their tablet released update to the latest version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
Unfortunately, this is not an official update from Motorola, and amateur ROM from one of the participants called XDA Schischu. To install the firmware OmniROM 4.4.2 requires Root in the system. It should be noted there were problems with the sound control on the connected dock, as well as HDMI-out broken. Nevertheless, work on the assembly is actively conducted, and the overall impression of the most positive Amateur ROM.
