r4i Config button Help?

Hi, i have somewhat recently bought a r4i Gold flash cart and lately on youtube i have seen a “Config” button in place of the “Slot 2″ button on the main menu. Can I and if I can how can i make my main menu like that? Any help is appreciated.
Oh and i have a DS Lite.
oh, and there are also some themes that have a lot more buttons than my version doesn’t, and obviosly im missing somrthing here but how do i get that too?
